Neither my husband nor I are big on Valentine's Day; we're both of the opinion that if we're not showing each other enough love every day of the year, then doing it that one day won't make much of a difference. And I've gotta say: I've never had a day where I've felt unloved (because he's pretty darn spectacular that way).
Just because we don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day doesn't mean we don't do ANYTHING for each other that day. Ever since I started with ROAR Groupe (now part of Moxie), I've made my husband a paper craft Valentine's Day card. Last year, it was Skeletor from He Man and the Masters of the Universe. This year, I went for another fabulous villain—Captain Hook from Disney's Peter Pan.
I've always viewed myself as Peter Banning from Hook, and my husband has had a thing for Hook (he even dressed like him for Halloween one year). If my mother-in-law ever sends me a copy of the photos, I'll add them below.
