In-House Design Direction for Advito / BCD Travel | 2014
Advito was founded in 2006 as the consulting arm of the global travel management company, BCD Travel. They were born out of a desire from clients for valuable, independent advice to help their organizations streamline and optimize the increasingly complex sphere of corporate travel.
Advito serves the world’s leading companies across a diverse range of industries including technology, life sciences, finance, business consulting, manufacturing, apparel, aerospace, FMCG, and more.
At the end of 2013, we began a total rebrand of Advito. Partner agency See See Eye had already been involved in the BCD Travel corporate style update, so they were a logical choice to bring onboard for Advito’s brand refresh. See See Eye started the rebrand with an updated color palette, new patterns and some refinements to the Advito logo.
In addition to helping direct the project from a visual standpoint, I was also heavily involved in pressure-testing literally everything before it could go live.

Can data be “sexy?”
I was on a mission to prove that yes, it can be! Advito’s quarterly “Industry Forecast” became one of my favorite projects to dive into every three months. It involved both a full report and a DENSE infographic.
One of my biggest accomplishments on the Global Marketing Team at BCD Travel was getting to craft narratives with data: I got to be the person who told the “challenger sale” story. I’d be handed a loose outline of an infographic or draft of a white paper and given carte blanche to decode the data and then make it as eye-catching as possible.
